Job Description

IDentity Theft 911 is seeking dedicated, hard-working Fraud Specialists and Fraud Investigators to work in our Fraud Operations call center at our Scottsdale headquarters.  The ideal candidate will have exceptional customer service skills. 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide professional and courteous customer service and expert assistance to victims of identity theft
  • Educate and advise victims and potential victims of identity theft
  • Conduct phone interviews and compile information regarding identity theft education and resolution
  • Analyze information to determine the degree of fraud or identity theft 
  • Record and detail customer personal information and relevant case notes into database 
  • Gather, assemble and preserve facts, statements or affidavits and other evidence for use in resolving identity theft issues and claims 
  • Prepare letters, initiate telephone communications and acts as a liaison to creditor, law enforcement and government agencies
  • Maintain current knowledge of all new laws and regulations pertaining to identity theft
  • Identify, report, and articulate on current trends and unique customer situations to both internal and external parties


    Requirements:

    • Minimum 3 yrs. consumer assistance and/or customer service experience (fraud-related experience such as identity theft, credit card, cell phone, mortgage preferred)
    • High school diploma
    • Proficiency with MS Office (Word, Excel), internet and database navigation
    • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
    • Empathic listener
    • Excellent organizational and multi-tasking skills
    • Bias for accuracy and details
    • Excellent time management skills
    • Strong problem-solving skills
    • Able to work independently and in a team environment
    • Must pass a thorough background check and drug test
